I took time to say hello,
To someone that I didn’t know,
To someone who was walking by,
With a look of sadness in his eyes,
And when he smiled back gratefully,
And replied a warm hello to me,
I then realized my little gift,
Has given both f us a lift,
You‘ll never know just whom you‘ll meet,
Throughout your day n any streer,
People just like me and you,
Are with loneliness and problems too,
Yet life is always better when,
We take the time to be a friend,
To some one we don’t even now,
